Macramé Plant Hangers

Macramé is a form of textile that uses knotting techniques and comes from the 13th century weavers’ word for “fringe”. This fiber art form was popular in the 60s and 70s and now it’s back and as popular as ever. Join local fiber artist Alyssa Foxson, and embrace your inner boho goddess for an afternoon of mimosas and macramé fun! Learn all the basic macramé knots needed to make macramé plant hangers. All supplies are included and you will leave this workshop with a beautiful mini macramé plant hanger ready for display! Skill level: All

Celebrate the arrival of a new day filled with new possibilities! This gentle flow yoga class begins at dawn with a series of stretches. As the sun rises we’ll move through a sequence of Sun Salutations and welcome the new day with Power & Peace!

Zen Basil – Healthy Cooking

Our Zen Basil ‘hybrid’ kitchen is a destination cooking space that encompasses everything from outdoor culinary experiences to the indoor and everything in between. Throughout the summer we will be offering a variety of culinary and well-being experiences that allows everyone to explore, discover, and develop healthier habits in and out of the kitchen.

Some of the classes offered include- Mixology, Immune Busters, Mediterranean Diet, Pizza Making, and lots more delish dish making!

This June we are focusing on Healthy Cooking with renown Chef Paz Goffer.

Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga

Enjoy a beautiful bright sunny day with a fun SUP Yoga adventure! After a quick lesson on how to paddle, you’ll see how easy it really is! You’ll reconnect with the natural world as we cruise the beautiful Winter Park Venetian Canals. We’ll find the perfect spot, and enjoy a half flow/half stretch SUP Yoga class modified for balance and possibility. You’ll be able to push the limits of your practice, or take it easy and float about. We provide all the gear, and will teach you everything you need to know to enjoy the worlds fastest growing sport!

Aqua Yoga Floatation Meditation

As a part of our movement towards fostering a more healthy and happy lifestyle, we are bringing you a series of Well-Be pop ups that go above and beyond our normal fitness routine at the J. These include some of the best instructors Orlando has to offer, and we’re giving you exclusive access. 

Feel the tension float away during this rejuvenating yoga class in the pool! Using props and resistance of the water, we’ll move through a gentle yoga sequence designed to improve mobility and ease joint pain. At the end of class enjoy an extended floating savasana, where you’ll float effortlessly, supported by props as you are guided through a relaxation meditation. This class is appropriate for all levels and ages.
