Previous to returning to The Roth Family JCC in his current role, Robby was the Director of JCC Summer Camps in Austin, Texas, where his camps won two national awards in six years and enrollment finished at near 1,200 campers in 2012. While completing his bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and master’s in adolescent development at the University of Florida, Robby worked for five summers here at Camp J—as a Sports Camp Counselor for two summers, and Tayarim Head Counselor for three summers. Robby also graduated from our very own Richard S. Adler Early Childhood Learning Center, attended camp and after school as a child, and had his 10th birthday party here at the J. Between receiving his master’s degree and his trip out west to Austin, Robby was the Director of the Weinstein JCC’s 114-acre Camp Hilbert in Richmond, VA for three years. Throughout the year, Robby is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire JCC, but is always most excited about camp!
