J-Serve is the International Day of Jewish Youth Service and is a part of Youth Service America’s Global Youth Service Day weekend. J-Serve provides teens with the opportunity to fulfill the Jewish values of gemilut chasidim (acts of kindness), tzedakah (charitable giving), and tikkun olam (the responsibility to repair the world). Across the globe, teens will join each other to make their community and the world a better place. Open to grades 6-12. J-Serve is made possible in part by a grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando.
In Orlando, teens will have the opportunity to choose from multiple service projects and earn 4 service hours for volunteering.
