About the JCC

Mission Statement

The JCC of Greater Orlando builds community, strengthens family life, and promotes Jewish values.


  • Roth Jewish Community Center, 851 N. Maitland Ave., Maitland; 407-645-5933; Opened in 1973
  • JCC’s Jack & Lee Rosen Southwest Orlando Campus, 11184 S. Apopka-Vineland Rd., Orlando; 407-387-5330; Opened preschool in 1994; Opened JCC in 2009

  • Winter Festival: January at the JCC’s Rosen Campus; attended by up to 1,500 people
  • Israel Independence Day: April/May at Cranes Roost Park, Altamonte Springs; attended by up to 7,000 people
  • Taste of the J | a festival of local food:  August at JCC’s Rosen Campus; attended by up to 2,000 people
  • Family Festival: November at Cranes Roost Park, Altamonte Springs; attended by up to 7,000 people
  • Jewish Film Festival: November at Enzian Theatre, Maitland; attended by up to 700 people

Community Service

  • Over $200,000 in scholarships provided annually, raised through individuals, corporations, foundations, and fundraisers such as the J Ball, Celebrity Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament, 5K Beat the Heat Road Race, and Golf Classic
  • Annual “Mitzvah Day,” sends hundreds of campers into the community to perform good deeds
  • Weekly respite care service with Share the Care
  • Host activities for local youth, such as Boys & Girls Club and Hungerford Elementary of Eatonville
  • Offer free legal assistance to the community on a monthly basis
  • Holiday toy drive and regular food drives for Jewish Family Services
