Establish professional contacts, make new friends, and help the community by participating in one of two social groups hosted by the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando—Or Hadash for those under 40, and Dor Shalom for those over 40.

20- and 30-Somethings

Or Hadash: Orlando’s Young Jewish Professionals is dedicated to involving young professionals in their 20s and 30s in a broad range of social, educational, philanthropic and leadership activities as a means of enhancing their commitment and connection to Orlando’s Jewish community.

A project of the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando, Or Hadash is also committed to strengthening Jewish identity, energizing our relationship with Israel and meeting human needs locally and globally. Or Hadash’s operation relies on the generous support of our community.

40-, 50-, and 60-Somethings

Dor Shalom is a social program comprised of Jewish men and women 40 years old plus. Dor Shalom welcomes both couples and singles to reconnect with old friends and make new ones with fellow Jews.

Dor Shalom was conceived by community volunteers who recognized the need for fun and meaningful programming for their age group, those born after World War II. The program creates opportunities for Jewish adults to connect through social events, community service, and athletics.
